Bacon Pants

    Make it happen

Take a chance

Don’t forget your bacon pants…

Camp song.  Counselor wrote it.  There’s more to it, of course, but that’s pretty much a huge part of the way I live.

Make it happen.  Cause putting thoughts into action (like thinking about getting out of bed and then actually getting up) are so different; I can’t believe they’re related.  At all.  This morning, I watched myself get up, bake scones, do my homework, have breakfast, etc.  And then I opened my eyes, and guess what?  I was still on my bed.

Hurray.

Still, though, that means that you can always relive the scone making.  The homework?  Not so exciting (the first or the second time).

Take a chance.  Pretty self-explanatory.  Though sometimes, you gotta be choosy.  Don’t push the envelope too far.

(By the way, does anyone know what envelope someone was pushing so hard on that it had to be made into a saying?  Cause like, what might happen?  You push it off your desk?)

Don’t forget your bacon pants.  Possibly the most awesome line in music history.  It rhymes with “chance”, none of the words are made up, but it’s just, like, there.  It’s staring at you.  Yeah, right now.  WoOoOoO…okay, maybe not.  Are they bacon-shaped pants?  Are they pants with bacon designs?

Does it really matter?  The point is that it’s awesome.  And it reminds you that while you’re using your willpower (see: second paragraph), and going places (see: fourth paragraph?  Fifth?), you can’t forget to be silly.  Cause silly is the food of gods.

And some other people.
